John teaches us that we aren't Christians because we read the Bible and follow the rules. We are Christians because we are in fellowship with Jesus Christ. We must return to the three basics of Christianity: Truth, Righteousness, and Love. Jude, the brother of Jesus, wrote a short, powerful, admonition to contend for the faith. He also warns us to avoid false teachers. After all, this could be the day he comes for me!
